Welcome to Skylarks Model Flying Group
We are an enthusiastic group based between Newbury and Basingstoke (click here for our location) welcoming all skills and disciplines of the hobby.
PLEASE NOTE:
UNFORTUNATELY WE ARE NO LONGER ABLE TO ACCOMODATE MULTI ROTOR AIRCRAFT AT OUR SITE (HELICOPTERS ARE STILL OK)
At this time Skylarks is only accepting Senior membership requests (18 years and over) from those with a current A or B certificate or who are nearly at the point of taking their A Certificate, i.e. able to take off, fly circuits and land safely without direct assistance (i.e. no buddy box lead)
We do not have additional capacity to train people from scratch. As the year progresses this will hopefully change as existing members develop their skills, therefore if you would like to be placed on a wait list, please contact us via the “Contact Us” tab.
Our site is available:
- From 9 am to dusk on Mondays to Saturdays during the period from 1st September to 31st March.
- From 9 am to 7:30 pm on Mondays to Saturdays during the period from 1st April to 31st August or until dusk (whichever is the earlier); and
- From 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays throughout the year or until dusk (whichever is the earlier)

Currently our most active days for flying are Friday Afternoons, Saturdays and Sunday afternoons. However you never know when you may find a member at the field. By becoming a member you can access the field webcam via the members area on this website.
